    Veterinarian
    Dr. Sanders received his doctorate with Honors from the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine, after receiving his Bachelors degrees in Biochemistry and Animal Science, summa cum laude in 1982. He was awarded the Merck Clinical Excellence Award in both Large and Small Animal Medicine, the American Animal Hospital Clinical Excellence Award, the Scheidy Prize in Clinical Pharmacology and the Jesse L. Roberts Award for Veterinary Medicine. Since graduation, Dr. Sanders practiced in the Atlanta and Athens, GA area with a special interest in internal medicine and surgery, especially orthopedics. Prior to purchasing Powdersville Animal Hospital, he was a Mission Specialist Astronaut candidate, and finalist in the NASA Space Shuttle Program. He now resides in Powdersville with his wife (Kristin),  children, 4 dogs, and 2 cats.

    Dr. Jess White graduated from the veterinary school at the University of Georgia in 2007 and received her bachelors from Clemson University. She has several goats and 3 dogs. She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters.

    Lauren, a Licensed Veterinary Technician graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at Tri-County Technical College in 2008. She has been with Powdersville Animal Hospital since 2006.

    Brittany, a Licensed Veterinary Technician, graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at Tri-County Technical College in 2007 with an Associates Degree in Health Sciences. Brittany has a special interest in surgical assisting. She has been with Powdersville Animal hospital since 2008 and lives in Powdersville with her husband, son, 6 dogs, and 3 cats.

    Sonya, a Licensed Veterinary Technician, graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at Tri-County Technical College in 2006. She started working at PAH in July 2011.

    Sharon has been with Powdersville Animal Hospital since 2005. She loves English Bulldogs, especially her sweet boy Tubbs. She is a die-hard Gamecock fan and always keeps us entertained. She lives in Easley with her husband and children.

    Melinda is one of our certified groomers on staff. She has been with us since 2006. In her spare time she enjoys working with horses and helping people with their farms. She has two dogs, Tucker and Jenson.

    Leann has been at Powdersville Animal Hospital since the summer of 2010. She helps in grooming and kennels. She has lots of animals and loves them all! Leann is also a certified groomer. She lives in Dacusville with her husband and daughter.
